This adapter mounts in the stock location using the Barrett quick mount pin. It is positioned and secured to the chassis using special non-marring Teflon tipped screws. Shown here with an Atlas H5, it uses a standard picatinny rail so it is compatible with any bipod that mounts via a picatinny rail. This is not compatible with swivel stud mounts such like the Harris. This adapter is made from Aircraft grade aluminum and type 3 anodized black to match the rifle.
This adapter mounts to the stock location and adapts Large "Nitro" LimbSaver pad (#10539). It also moves the location sightly higer making it very comfortable to shoot from a bench and also from prone, by putting the recoil pad into the correct part of the sholder. Integrated also is a cylindrical bagrider for use with a sandbag /pinch bag for rock solid rear support. This is the single largest upgrade you can do to your M99, it makes the rifle a absolute pleasure to shoot and truly transforms the rifle. It will still fit in the OEM pellican case!

This rail adds an additional 25 MOA of cant over the OEM rail. We selected 50 MOA because it optimizes popular 56mm objective optics (Nightforce ATACR, Vortex Razor Gen 2, Leupold Mark5, Althlon Cronus, etc.. ) elevation adjustment by allowing for a 100 yard zero and then to use the entire 100+ MOA of elevation adjustment, this is not a good solution if your optic has less than 100 MOA of internal adjustment. We also put the picatinny rail in location to where the scope belongs, by doing this we cleared room for the large objective of the optic and also clearanced the power ring.
Pictured is a 34mm / 56mm (tube / objective) optic with medium height rings. There is plenty of clearance room around the optic and it optically clears the muzzle brake. Where this mount really shines is with an adjustable mount, because you can run the adjustable mount at the bottom of the adjuster, and not waste any of the mount's range or the optic's elevation range.
